Visionary disco cyber-punk duo Feral Five release their new music video for their album title track ‘Truth Is The New Gold‘ which is entirely shot using drones.
Whilst speaking at an exclusive video premiere on Louder Than War the Electro duo Kat and Drew said,
“The film is entirely shot using drones and takes us on a journey through the bending and melting worlds of a seemingly familiar semi-rural landscape. Pylon giants bestriding the horizon where the river meanders and the riverbanks echo Tarkovsky’s cinematic paintings. Are we on still on Earth or in some other forbidden zone, being stalked from the air? The Ferals morph from pulsating golden pods and march across the narrows like futuristic sages, caped in gold, searching for the truth.”

The video was directed by Kat Five and David Morris, all the filming for this video was by Design Exchange’s creative film department Flying Film Lab
Kat Five said,
“It was incredible working with Flying Film Lab, the experimental film & creative studio. We were pushing drone filming in new directions and making the drones become characters in the story, along with the natural landscapes.
This created a very organic-feeling and otherworldly film, with beauty and tension, and multiple technologies at its heart, from the aerial footage to the visual effects and elements of AI vocals in the music.“
