Tim Van Steenbergen Designs Pendant Lamp For Delta Light
Sharing a passion for creativity, timeless design and craftsmanship, Delta Light joined forces with Tim Van Steenbergen to create the METRONOME, a special edition of the Husk. The result had to be pure and to-the-point. A lighting design with impact. An ambiance of light, in the form of a modern object.

Rather than just use a print or piece of fabric Tim Van Steenbergen decided to play with the light effect. He wanted to go back to the product, the essence, the values, the content. He embarked on a quest for beauty and aesthetic that also characterizes his other creations.
The designer started working on the original lighting object. He covered it with fabric and cut it. Known for his artistically draped silhouettes, Tim was looking to bring that level of craftsmanship to the lighting object. He was inspired to create an object that plays with light and shadow. The result is a unique and versatile object. Under a waterfall of white aluminium strips, the warm light conjures up a magical play of light and shadow.
The metronome is a completely new product range, associated with the Husk but unique on its own.
The design is characterized by a waterfall of flexible strips, either with or without the signature upper piece of the Husk. Except for 3 static strips, each aluminium strip can be tilted, allowing the user to create its own version. As such, there will never be 2 exact same copies, each version will have its own story.
The Metronome XXL is a truly unique creation, an immense eye-catcher able to upgrade any large space. With a height of 2.10m, the Metronome XXL can be seen as the pièce de resistance of this collection.
