Inside Out Festival 2015 partners with Design Exchange

Talks, walks, music, art, films, debate and performance – six days of unique cultural events across London

With over 50 events in just six days across London – most of them completely FREE – Inside Out Festival returns 19-24 October to celebrate the extraordinary contribution of London’s universities to the capital’s cultural life, inviting the curious to discover an eclectic mix of powerful live performances from rousing opera choruses to performance art, fascinating walks revealing the hidden stories of Victorian Spitalfields to a celebration of light in our city. Plus a diverse range exhibitions, screenings, debates and discussions with guests including author & journalist Will Self, musician Rick Wakeman and Warhol superstar Penny Arcade.

 On Tuesday 20th October, in a first for the Festival, Design Exchange and The Cultural Capital Exchange (TCCE) will host the first of a series of Salons exploring our relationship with design in a variety of contemporary contexts, encouraging discussion on key issues affecting our current perceptions of public space. How is public space and changing? Are the lines between public and private space shifting? Who or what is pushing boundaries? Don’t miss your chance to get involved!
