Architale Books

Artist Federico Babina has produced another inventive series of architecture-inspired illustrations ‒ this time based on famous fairytales. ARCHITALE’s surrealist drawings reimagine children’s stories as buildings, such as a nautical twist on Peter Pan, a foreboding interpretation of Alice in Wonderland featuring playing card motifs, and a gothic Sleeping Beauty castle clearly influenced by deep hues of the 1959 Disney film. Other images in the series include a gleaming lamp-shaped home for Aladdin and a layered structure for The Princess and the Pea.
