A Room for London is a collaboration between Living Architecture and Artangel, in association with the Southbank Centre, the Arts Council and London 2012 Festival. The installation, which looks a little like a boat, sits on top of Queen Elizabeth Hall, and is available to visitors at £120 a night. While performing as a one-bed mini-motel, the Room also provides artists, writers and musicians a small studio space in which to exhibit or post their own views or feelings on London. These will feature throughout the year as podcasts, postings and streamed performances.
