The residence is made out of two blocks featuring exposed concrete supporting structures, while one block is connected to the other through a metallic footbridge.

Bonina Architects have created a set of spaces that suggest a distinctive and rather intense playfulness; the residence’s rooms form a constant game between emptiness and fullness while they provide the residents with exemplary spaces where they can show-off or hide away in order to  enjoy their privacy.

One of the key elements and definitely the most charming of all here is the enclosed patio space in the middle of the house as it connects the two blocks, as a light metallic structure lies on top of the two blocks joining them together.

The house evokes a feeling of sweet decadence; it maintains a strong bond with the natural environment as well as with the intense urbanity of Sao-Paulo. This results to a rather diverse dwelling experience that feels highly energetic but at the same time so  effortless and relaxed.

However, the materials that the architects have used in the M&M residence play an important role in the creation of this seductive and decadent atmosphere  of  the house. Materials such as demolition wood, exposed concrete, white burnt cement, steel, demolition bricks and white gravel have been employed in the construction of the residence.

This is a house that has an inimitable feeling; a place where couleur local comes together with contemporary design and shape spaces that are highly urbane and sophisticated and easy-going; spaces that celebrate the simplicity and joy of everyday living.
